Mom back in the day !

My mom looked so happy with her full head of hair and she looks like she is loving life before she met my dad and had a family and moved to america. I had always wanted to see what my mom's life was like before she met my dad and had a family. the photograph looked like whoever was taking the photo was telling my mom to "work it" she is smiling like there is no tomorrow. or should I call her by her first name since she isn't my mom yet. The reason why my mom was so happy is just because she just got the word that she was moving to america with her husband and two kids who wouldn't pose like that. back in Jamaica living life was just the way to go and the photo will always remain in my mind because the way she is so happy that is all that I ever wanted for my mother. PLUS the clothes she was wearing like yessssss mom! WORK IT! pencil shirt and blouse!

You can say there will forever be a time was I was totally happy. May 20th, 2016 was the day I had met my boyfriend for the time. Since we lived in two different states it was hard for us to see each other and I was always busy with school and work. I never really could find the time to come and see him. So I planned it out to where I would see him after my birthday. So I took a greyhound bus from NY to MI and my was it a long trip. 17 hours later I was in MI and he was waiting for me at the bus terminal and my heart couldn't stop beating I was so nervous and happy wasn't even the word. Not even looking for love and you find love on the way of you just living your life isn't that how it is suppose to go instead of you forcing love?. Scrolling on social media because its social media and that is what you are suppose to do. And you come across someone that catches your eye. What made me catch his eye ? He had something in him that he had in no other was it his Caramel Chocolate skin tone that looked like hershey.
