Totally Happy :)

You can say there will forever be a time was I was totally happy. May 20th, 2016 was the day I had met my boyfriend for the time. Since we lived in two different states it was hard for us to see each other and I was always busy with school and work. I never really could find the time to come and see him. So I planned it out to where I would see him after my birthday. So I took a greyhound bus from NY to MI and my was it a long trip. 17 hours later I was in MI and he was waiting for me at the bus terminal and my heart couldn't stop beating I was so nervous and happy wasn't even the word. We had spent a total of 6 days together. Taking uber's everywhere. Him showing me around and where he grew up. And I forgot to mention that I met his friends like his friends for life more like family. I couldn't stop smiling the whole time I was there. I was totally happy and it was one of the best days of my life.

Showing me around Michigan was way different then New York. So I was excited about touring the place and seeing different things especially the food places they didn’t have in New York as well. Like Dairy Queen. And other names I don’t remember it was just weird but it was very good. Also what we call "walmart" they call "kourgers" Did you know that the movie tickets for adults were $4.00 each I was so shocked that I had to go to the movies, there was no way I was going to miss out on that. Also they had different toppings for your popcorn I had cheddar cheese on mine! You don’t get that in NewYork at all. Also seeing how the mall was different to me as well some stores that they have there wasn’t what I had in New York. Overall I was just happy to see my boyfriend so anywhere I went I was just happy. He understood why and he couldn’t stop laughing.

Mom back in the day !

My mom looked so happy with her full head of hair and she looks like she is loving life before she met my dad and had a family and moved to america. I had always wanted to see what my mom's life was like before she met my dad and had a family. the photograph looked like whoever was taking the photo was telling my mom to "work it" she is smiling like there is no tomorrow. or should I call her by her first name since she isn't my mom yet. The reason why my mom was so happy is just because she just got the word that she was moving to america with her husband and two kids who wouldn't pose like that. back in Jamaica living life was just the way to go and the photo will always remain in my mind because the way she is so happy that is all that I ever wanted for my mother. PLUS the clothes she was wearing like yessssss mom! WORK IT! pencil shirt and blouse!
